Community Policy

1. Respectful Communication

Speak to others the way you would want to be spoken to. Disagreement is welcome; disrespect is not. This means:

• Use language that is courteous, thoughtful, and appropriate for all audiences.
• Avoid profanity, crude language, and inflammatory phrasing — even when you strongly disagree with someone.
• Engage with ideas, not with personal attacks. Criticize positions, not people.
• Sarcasm and dismissive language directed at other members will be treated the same as direct insults.

2. No Hate Speech or Discriminatory Content

REVIRA is an inclusive community. Content that demeans, threatens, or dehumanizes any person or group is prohibited, including on the basis of:

• Gender identity or expression
• Race, ethnicity, or national origin
• Sexual orientation
• Religion or belief
• Disability or health condition
• Age, body size, or physical appearance
• Socioeconomic background

This includes slurs, stereotypes, and content that normalizes discrimination — even when framed as humor.

3. No Sexual or Explicit Content

REVIRA is a wellness community, not an adult platform. The following are strictly prohibited:

• Sexually explicit images, videos, or written descriptions
• Suggestive or sexualized content targeting any individual
• Nudity that is not clearly and relevantly medical or clinical in nature
• Links to external sites hosting explicit material

4. Zero Tolerance for Harassment

Every member has the right to participate without fear of harassment. Prohibited behavior includes:

• Repeated unwanted contact with another member after they have signaled they do not wish to engage
• Sexual comments, propositions, or unwanted advances directed at any member
• Sharing or threatening to share private information about another member (doxing)
• Sustained targeting, mocking, or pressuring of a specific individual
• Coordinating with others to collectively harass or exclude a member

If you feel you are being harassed, use the report feature or contact REVIRA support. We take every report seriously.

5. No Bullying or Body Shaming

This community exists to support every woman's wellness journey — regardless of where she is starting from. Prohibited:

• Negative comments about a member's weight, size, appearance, or physical characteristics
• Unsolicited opinions about another member's health choices, diet, or body
• Shaming language directed at any aspect of a member's lifestyle or appearance
• "Wellness advice" that is actually disguised judgment or pressure

We celebrate progress in every form. Build people up; never tear them down.

6. No Political Discussion or Commentary

REVIRA is not a political platform. To keep the community focused on wellness and free of divisive conflict, political content is prohibited, including:

• Advocacy for or against political candidates, parties, or elected officials
• Commentary on legislation, elections, or government policy (including healthcare policy debates that are primarily political rather than medical)
• Content designed to advance a political agenda or ideology

Discussions about health policy that relate directly and practically to members' personal wellness may be permitted at moderator discretion when framed factually and non-politically.

7. No Advertising or Commercial Promotion

This is a community, not a marketplace. Prohibited:

• Promoting, selling, or soliciting for products or services — including your own business
• Affiliate links, referral codes, or discount codes for third-party products
• Unsolicited direct messages with commercial offers
• Creating posts primarily to drive traffic to an external website or social profile

REVIRA may occasionally feature curated partners or sponsors in designated areas. Those placements are clearly labeled and separate from community discussions.

8. Accurate Health Information

Many members come to REVIRA seeking wellness guidance. With that comes responsibility:

• Do not present personal opinions or anecdotal experiences as medical fact.
• Do not discourage members from following advice given by their licensed healthcare providers.
• Do not share unverified health claims, miracle cures, or wellness misinformation.
• Content that is factually incorrect and could cause health harm will be removed.

Sharing your personal experience is encouraged. Generalizing that experience as universal medical advice is not.

9. Privacy and Confidentiality

What is shared in the REVIRA community should stay in the REVIRA community. Members must:

• Never share another member's personal information (name, location, contact details, photos) without explicit consent
• Treat sensitive disclosures — health struggles, personal circumstances, trauma — with discretion
• Not screenshot, copy, or redistribute another member's content outside the platform without permission

Respect that members share vulnerably here. Honor that trust.

10. Intellectual Property

• Do not post content you do not own the rights to without proper credit and permission.
• Do not reproduce substantial portions of copyrighted material (articles, books, research papers) in posts.
• Always attribute quotes, images, or data to their original sources.

Enforcement

REVIRA moderators review reported content and use this policy as the evaluation framework. Violations may result in:

• Warning: for first or minor offenses
• Content removal: for any policy violation
• Temporary suspension: for repeat or more serious violations
• Permanent ban: for severe violations, including harassment, threats, or explicit content

We aim to be fair, consistent, and transparent. Members who believe a moderation decision was made in error may appeal by contacting support@revirahealth.com.
